Obituary for Louis Clavell Jr.

Louis Clavell Jr. proudly served 2 years in the United States Marine Corps 3rd battalion 8th Marines. He served from the young age of 17 when he enlisted in the service in 1954 until 1956 when he was honorably discharged. He returned home to his loving parents Louis Clavell Sr. and Esther Garcia, to whom he was a devoted caring son. Upon his return home he married the love of his life, Agustina Clavell, and later had a family of his own including his son Louis Clavell III and his two daughters Desiree Clavell and Lorelei Clavell. Throughout his life, his line of work allowed him to touch the lives of many. He was a male role model to young boys in a group home in which he worked. He also influenced the lives of many working in senior centers and advocating for the elderly. He was a no nonsense kind of guy and always made sure his presence was known. He was an avid fisherman who would spend long hours on the water in search of his greatest catch and was happy to teach his grandchildren a love of the sport. He was a lover of animals and always had a canine companion by his side and in his heart. In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made to a gofundme page set up to help care for his current companion Lola. ( https://www.gofundme.com/lolas-forever-home ) The funds raised will go towards her food and care until we can find her a new forever home where we can ensure her safety and wellbeing.

He was a beloved husband, brother, uncle, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was survived by his wife Tina; Children Louis III, Desiree, and Lorelei; his grandchildren Jeffany, JohnEric, Louis IV and Paige and his great granddaughter Elani; as well as his brother Rigoberto, nieces Michelle and Ruthie and cousins Ada, Jason, Matthew, Mark, and Michael as well as many other family members and friends.

He will truly be missed.
