irene was my neighbor and one of two people on my street whose name i knew.  i didn't see her often but when i did, we would always converse and laugh for a while.  we never just spoke to each other and went our seperate ways.  we would always find something to chit chat about something and most of the time she would always tell me something that gave me a chuckle or a laugh.  what i liked most about her was that she had a strong and beautiful spirit and she always told me something nice about myself.  my daughter told me everytime she would bump into irene at georges diner, that she would always ask about me and that she would tell the employees that my daughters mother was a lovely and nice lady and that's EXACTLY how i feel about her.  another thing that drew me to her was that she would tell it like it is.  one sunday after church, i bumped into her about 3 times the same day and she told me "if i see you again today, you're going to have to take me out for a drink"  which i found hillarious.  i will truly miss her kind and strong spirited spirit in the neighborhood!  miss you irene and hope to see you again in heaven.  sincerely, robin
